Garlic Hummus and Vegetable Sandwiches

These tasty little sandwiches are given some great added flavor with our Roasted Garlic Hummus.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Robert Rothschild Farm Roasted Garlic Hummus
  • 1 Pita bread, round, very thin, 16-18 inch
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber, seedless, sliced
  • 1 large Carrot, cut into ribbonlike strands with a vegetable peeler, about 1 cup
  • 1 small Sweet onion, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup Radish, finely shredded, about 6
  • 1/2 cup Alfalfa sprouts, plus additional for garnish
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds, toasted
  • Directions
    1. Spread Roasted Garlic Hummus evenly on pita bread and top with cucumber, carrot, onion, radish, 1/2 cup sprouts and 1 tablespoon sesame seeds.
    2. Roll pita up tightly jelly-roll fashion and trim ends. Cut roll crosswise with a serrated knife into 8 pieces.
    3. Garnish sandwiches with additional sprouts and remaining 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds.
